Why should I participate in a Ministry Outreach Trip?

An outreach trip allows you opportunities for experiencing a new dimension of your Christian life. You will develop a passion and love for people in different circumstances and cultures. You will stretch your limits emotionally, spiritually and physically. But most of all, you will experience relationships with your family of faith, and grow as you encourage your brothers and sisters around the world.

Volunteers that go on ministry outreach trips experience real change in their own lives by pouring blessings into the lives of others.

HandCard

At Eastside, our heart is to see people meet Jesus. We've realized that more often than not, the smallest gesture can leave the biggest impact on lives.

This Christmas season, let's join together and be the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities. Pay it forward with any random act of kindness, great or small, and invite neighbors and strangers alike to join us for Christmas Eve!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  1. Pick up an invite card (or four!) - Available on Sunday mornings or in the Eastside Office during the week.
  2. Do a random act of kindness.
  3. Offer an invite card to the recipient of your kindness.
  4. Share your story on our Facebook page using #PayItForwardECC.

Example

Here are some ways you can Pay It Forward:

  • Pay for someone's meal
  • Leave a large tip for your waiter/waitress
  • Babysit for free
  • In a drive through, pay for the order of the car behind you
  • Leave a giftcard on someone's car windshield
  • Leave a gas gift card at a gas pump
  • Pay the toll for the car behind you
